1. The process

Every commission runs through the same stages, in this order:

  1. Enquiry. You reach out with roughly what you want.
  2. Quote. You're given a price based on the idea, its complexity, and the intended use.
  3. Acceptance. You confirm you're happy with the price and the commission is scheduled.
  4. Brief. You send a full written description of what you want made — the more detail and reference, the better the first sketch will match what's in your head.
  5. Sketch. A rough, watermarked outline is sent over for your feedback. This is not the finished style or quality — it's a layout and composition check.
  6. Sketch revisions. You can ask for changes to the sketch. This goes back and forth until you're happy with the direction.
  7. Preview. Once the sketch is approved, a fuller, still-watermarked version of the piece is sent.
  8. Last round of changes. You can request changes to this preview. This is the final point where changes to the piece are accepted — see Revisions below.
  9. Final render. Once the preview is approved, the finished piece is sent over — watermarked, for your review. No further changes are made to the piece at this stage.
  10. Payment. Full payment is due once the final render has been sent. See Payment.
  11. Delivery. Once payment is confirmed, the clean, unwatermarked file is sent and the commission is complete.

2. Revisions

Changes are welcomed at the sketch and preview stages — that's what those steps are for. Once a preview has been approved, the piece is locked: its composition, subject, and details won't change from that point on. If something new comes up after the piece is locked, it'll be treated as a separate request and quoted on its own terms rather than folded into the current commission.

3. Payment

Payment is due in full once the final watermarked render has been sent over, and before the unwatermarked file is delivered. There's no partial payment along the way — the full amount quoted at acceptance is what's due at this stage, unless something about the brief changed and was re-quoted in the meantime.

If payment isn't completed within a reasonable time of the final render being sent, the commission may be paused, and the finished artwork stays undelivered and unlicensed until it is.

4. Usage rights

Once payment is complete and the final file has been delivered, you're free to use the finished artwork for any purpose — personal or commercial — without needing to ask again or pay any further licensing fee, unless something exclusive or unusual was agreed to separately in writing.

keeps authorship of the piece and may show it in a portfolio, on social media, or in other promotional material, unless you ask for it to be kept private beforehand.

5. Before payment

Sketches, previews, and any watermarked material sent during the process remain 's property. They're for your review only and can't be used, posted, or shared anywhere — for any purpose, commercial or otherwise — until payment is complete and the final file has been sent.

6. Cancellations

You can step back from a commission at any point before the final render is sent, and nothing is owed either way. Once the final render has been sent and is awaiting payment, the completed artwork is ready but stays undelivered — it isn't sent or licensed for use unless payment is made.

7. Content guidelines

can decline any request, at any stage, for any reason — including but not limited to hate symbols, non-consensual sexual content, or anything she's not comfortable drawing. If a commission is declined before work begins, no payment is owed.

8. Files & formats

Final artwork is delivered in standard image formats (such as PNG or JPG) unless another format was agreed on beforehand. Source or project files (layered files, brushes, etc.) aren't included unless specifically agreed to as part of the commission.

9. Liability

Artwork is delivered as-is once payment is complete. isn't responsible for how a delivered piece is later used, edited, or presented by the client.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in place when a commission is accepted is the one that applies to that commission.
